Compliment Call // Build, launch and learn

Compliment call is an innovative service that allow the user to send a personalized phone call to the person of their choice. Because a real person make the compliment call, each call is completely unique and personal. It delivers a personal message, to anyone, anywhere in the world.

The service also offers special calls for special events for instance birthdays.

The call last a few minutes and the person receiving the call is generally surprised, pleased and happy.

Netelio did the design, the development and the marketing of the service.

Confucius140 is a twitter experiment that started in December 2009 with a simple idea. Test the growth and responses on twitter of an automated account. Confucius is tweeting twice a day, one of he’s famous quote. Randomly.

Growth amongst followers has not been spectacular, but steady. Move importantly, we see that Confucius has found (or has been found) by it’s audience. His quotes are regularly re-tweeted.

Here are the latest score and stats from the various analytics sites: The Klout score, the Retweetrank, the Twitalyzer stats, the Tweet grader!, the PeerIndex rank or the Twittercounter.

Simple efficient design. present the news in the simplest way making them as easy to scan as possible. The simple design provides a relaxed way to look at the news, putting the headlines at the heart of the page.
The design follow 3 principles:

  • Less is more. By putting less clutter on the page you get to focus more on the news content. Which is the way it should be, this a news site. You can now scan clearly the news with no flashy distracting elements taking your attention away.
  • No Ads. Not putting advertisement, not even sponsored links allows again to keep the focus on the news. Lets be clear is about providing a great news reading experience, not making money.
  • Illustrate. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a 1000 words. We include a picture to better illustrate each headline, when a picture is available.
